2.0 out of 5 stars Its cute. Not as high quality as I thought it would be. Mar 15 2010

Its a cute apron. Thick decent quality cotton, but its really stiff rough cotton even after washing. And the bow is really cheap looking. Cute but not worth the $30 I paid for it. Wouldn't buy another one from this maker.

Wow, what can I say about this... I was expecting much, much better from a well known name brand, Jessie Steele. The best thing I can say about this product is that I'm glad I didn't buy it at full price, I would have been furious.

All in all, it's not "horrible", and I'm going to keep it as my "cleaning apron" you know, the one you do the real work in because you don't care if it gets ripped, torn, or greasy.

The fabric is stiff, but that's not a terrible thing, in fact I like the stronger material... the problem with this is the design. It ties at the neck which is fine if you like that, I prefer the loop so I can throw it on fast. That is workable though, and not something I'd give a bad review for. The worst is the ties around the waist and the length of the torso to where the ties are.

The ties at the waist are angled "up" like you should tie it around your head somewhere??? If you tie them straight across, they make the sides of the apron sit crooked and it just looks sloppy. The ties aren't long enough to wrap around the front, so you can't even cinch it in or make it very secure around the sides. The angle of the waist ties to the proportion of the torso material makes it bag at the waist giving the impression of one big breast/stomach area. To be quite honest, it looks terrible. If it's ties were longer you could pull that in with them, but since you have to tie it behind you back (which is a pain in the arm), you are just left with this big bubble from your neck to your hip area. Yuck!

Anyway, like I said, the material isn't terrible and it looks like it's stitched well, so I'll just be wearing it as the "I don't care what it looks like" apron...

Do NOT get this if you want to look cute around the house!!!!
