BEST STORYBOOK and CDs FOR KIDS!,

I ordered only the book at first, but when I realized it came in a deluxe edition I knew I had to get it for my kids! The storybook is WONDERFUL, of course, and the CDs are nice to have in case the kids want to read along with the narrator insead of reading it or being read to. I would definitely recommend this edition. I was listening to the first CD last night and found myself getting teary-eyed when the narrator talked about God's great love for us. A must-have for all Christian parents who want to teach their kids about "the greatest love story".

The cd's are what we are mainly using now, because our child is too young to be trusted around paper pages. The reader of the stories enlivens the stories, there are many opportunities to re-emphasize exciting parts in the stories, or make fun sounds (roaring, etc), which is where my little guy is developmentally. I believe this book is written in a way that he finds fun and will enjoy for many years to come.

By tracing the dots throughout the redemptive history, my heart is touched by God's gracious bigger plan for all of us. How stories of OT relates to the coming of Jesus. This is the best story bible I've come across so far that helps me to make sense of the stories. The bible is more than stories. It's about relationship with God.
