I truly enjoyed this collection of figure drawings/paintings. It shows how Dine handled subject matter far removed from his normal and more famous paintings of tools and hearts. His treatment of the model from a design, illustrative perspective, and the use of cool, dark colors clearly demonstrates the artistic atmosphere he chose to work from. Like his tools, the women are objectified.
There is another collection of still life drawings/paintings done in the same style, but I didn't find them as interesting and revealing.
