Great music, poor Blu-Ray, visually and audibly.,

I read all the reviews on this and decided to take the Blu-Ray plunge, regardless. Musically this is a great concert, if you are a JB fan, which of course I am - nothing more annoying than someone who goes out of their way to trash a DVD/Blu-Ray of a band in concert that they do not like. It happens - go figure!Anyway, back to the plot, from a video and audio perspective, this is a disappointing production. Only some of the camera angles (particularly the distant shots) appear to be HD. A lot of the close-up, front of stage work is kind of washed out and softened and has a strange blue/purple hue about it. Having seen other bands filmed in HD (check out Certifiable - The Police, Kings of Leon, Live at The O2 Centre and The Foo Fighters, Live at Wembley Stadium) their productions, both visually and audibly are vastly superior. The JB Blu-Ray is like watching a scaled up DVD. This is my only reason for the 3 stars as musically it is a superb concert for JB and blues fans in general. It is also very refreshing to hear, or should I say, not hear, the infuriating whoops and screams during the quieter moments, that younger/American audiences seem to feel obliged to fill the silence with rather than have a quiet, emotional passage in the music that requires them to actually listen and engage with the performer. In summary, great performance, very disappointing quality Blu-Ray.

À voir absolument, Joe Bonamassa à son meilleur avec plusieurs musiciens, clavier, cuivres, 2 batteurs. Le "son" au Albert Hall est incroyable ainsi que l'ambiance des fans dans cette grande salle. Il y a plusieurs caméras, donc on a des prises de vue sur tous les angles. Je le recommande sans hésiter et vous en avez pour votre argent.

This Joe Bonamassa Dvd is great,if you don't know this great guitarist yet you really mist something.He's a top guitarist in the world in blues rock style as talented as Stevie Ray Vaughn or Éric Clapton.In this dvd he's got a big band behind him and it enhance the quality of the show believe me.Wow what a show
