4.0 out of 5 stars Firming after 50 Aug. 19 2010
Format:DVD
A good workout video as you don't need any equipment and you can do it in a small space. There are different levels so you can work as hard as you want or take it easy. It has three separate workouts: lower body, upper body and abs. Neither workout is too long so if you're pressed for time you can choose to do just one. All in all I like this video and use it a lot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Joel Harper's Firming After 50 April 9 2010
By KMK
Format:DVD
very good instuctor, and geared to the over 50 people so it does not have a lot of young people doing things your body does not do when you are over 50. yet it can be as intense as you want it to be for your body. There are 3 levels going on at the same time so you can do the one right for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly like the title Jan. 14 2010

Good workout for those wanting something not too stressful on the body - 3 different levels. Also great for any age of person that is generally in need of mild exercise.

4.0 out of 5 stars not bad May 16 2010
Format:DVD
This dvd for 50's was not what i expected. The instructor has a 35+ lady in the video plus his mother who looks like she is 50+ the excercises are simple enough for a 50 nyear old to do. I recomend this dvd. I wish he had more.

It's OK the first few times but once you're familiar with the program, it's annoying to have to pause and listen to Joel's comments on proper position/method, etc. There's too much explanation and pausing before moving on to the next set. There should be two versions on the DVD - a "learner" version which you follow until you're familiar with the exercises, then the program itself with few pauses. Wish I could turn Dr. Roizen off as well - his comments become obnoxious after you hear them every time you exercise.

As one gets older, one's strength and balance decline so this is an excellent program to follow. None of the exercises is difficult but try doing them while balancing on one foot! Do this program on a regular basis and you'll improve your balance and posture. I know my balance has improved significantly.

Overall, I like the three programs (upper body, lower body & core).

4.0 out of 5 stars A good way to start a fitness program Sept. 30 2014

A good way to start a fitness program. Three different segments and the longest is 23 minutes, so very manageable with a busy schedule. I've seen others that are really annoying after a few days, this one is not:)
