This man is funny!,

While watching an episode of Just for Laughs I was overcome with laughter at John Pinette's short set. Although recognizing him from a couple of bit parts on T.V. I had no idea what a gifted performer he really is. Intrigued, I ordered this DVD and couldn't stop laughing. Even while writing this review I keep smiling when I think of many of his bits. Granted most of his material revolves around food and his size but he is just plain hilarious. While screening this DVD for my eight months pregnant wife I had to stop it numerous times so that she wouldn't lose control of her bladder. Simply put if you want a fun hour of stand-up to watch then pick this DVD up! "You go now!"

I have to agree with Miklos regarding the production quality. It seems to have been filmed in a smaller venue, on less of a budget.I already owned the newer "I'm Starvin'" DVD when my girlfriend bought me this one. Sadly, I was somewhat disappointed. It's basically the exact same act, but not quite as polished. Don't get me wrong, I like John Pinette as a comedian (though I do wish he'd write some new material), but this DVD is like a watered down version of "I'm Starvin'". Skip it and get the 2006 model.

this item was delivered pronto its for a christmas gift and its only novemver 29th today so i wont know how the gift receiver will like it i know i will cuz john pinette is one of the funniest men i've ever seen thanks amazon
