I've been a John Williams fan for years, and this collection is a nice mix of some old favorites, and some new gems from my favorite movie music master.

The title says it all, the man and his music are
simply the best. He is without a doubt one of the
finest American composers that ever lived!

Now I know what maestro means Feb. 8 2013

I was thirteen when Star Wars hit the theaters and every part of it blew my mind away. I can't not cry when I hear the bicycle chase music from ET. Who among people my age doesn't do the hand motions along with the five notes from Close Encounters? The man has written the soundtrack to my youth, and listening to the delicate power of his music is a rejuvenating thalidomide to my soul. I think that the age of the symphony is long past. Can you name a current composer that has written a symphony comperable in popularity to Mozart, Bethoven, Janecek? I can list the music from at least 10 films that John Williams has written. Do not miss this album.

Loved listening to all the works by Mr. John Williams. They bring back so many good memories.
The only thing missing was the theme for the Olympics.
