Designed by artist and master poster maker Todd Breeree Stewart, this book features photographer Jocelyn Michels juicy shots of Lucil sporting each of her unique hosen. The Joy of Hosen: Lederhosen Lucil Up Close und Pictorial is a delightful addition to any book collection. Full of tasty surprises for her fans, it is easy to see why Lucil is so very loved!
About the Author
Krista Muir grew up in small-town Canada, listening to everything from AC/DC to Chopin to The Cure. In school, her favourite subjects were always music and theatre, and she was always eager to jump onstage and soak up the lights.
Fast-forward to the future, when Krista moved to Toronto and got sucked into the hilarious world of temping. This introduction to the real world prompted her reactionary music and the development of her favourite character to date, Lederhosen Lucil.
Little did she know that people from San Francisco to Wellington would get hooked on her alter ego and that she would go on to record Hosemusik, Tales From the Pantry, and Apricots, as well as filming her video/short film Semi-Sweet.
Krista Muir currently lives in Montreal and is in the process of creating a Lederhosen Lucil TV show, a clothing line, and a rock and roll Bed & Breakfast.
