This is a fine book of worksheets if that's all you want, but the way the description is written here it sounds like you are getting lessons. We got this for home-schooling and were disappointed to discover there are no lessons, only exercises. The lessons are covered in the teacher's book, which is $85 from the author's web site.

These math text are the absolute greatest for reluctant math students. My son is now excelling at his work, despite his difficulty remembering number facts. John Mighton's philosophy is that everyone can master math, and the books aim to make that possible. If your child is having trouble I would absolutely check these out. Jump Math has a website which allows you to look at alot of pages, so you will be able to see if the books are likely to meet your child's needs.
