Product Description

Jamie Hector (The Wire, Heroes) is Young Eastie, a struggling rapper who dreams of getting a record deal through the legendary A-Maze (Wood Harris, The Wire, Remember the Titans). But connecting with his hero is going to be tougher than he thinks. Even though A-Maze is at the top of the ladder, his star is falling -- and he's getting desperate to hang on. Featuring top rap artists Trick Daddy, Lil Scrappy, Ja Rule and Petey Pablo, JUST ANOTHER DAY takes a compelling, true-to-life look at the brutal ups and downs of the cutthroat hip-hop business.

So you wanta be in the Rap game? July 17 2010
By Lamar - Published on
Format: DVD
This film show you the struggle on both sides of what it takes to make it and what it takes to stay in the rap game. It pulls the curtain away from the facade of fame and shows you what it's really like. Great music with great acting and some rough locales make this a must see for the Hip Hop fan. The film sucks you in with a great story of Young Eastie trying to meet up with older rapper Amaze who has his own set of problems. Great quality video and good audio make this way above the average Hip Hop film. Best film since Paid in Full. Doesn't get any more real than this.

good acting hit and miss elsewhere Jan. 12 2015
Format: DVD
hadn't seen this film in a minute and its still cool. catching the cats from "The Wire" in this gritty story about trying to be down in the rap game and how it is about getting on and staying was a strong cast though the writing in places was corn ball. i wish the wire was still on.

the movie had quality actors that gave good performances with what they had to work with. the story line was good but the script was not as good as it could have been.
Just Another Day = A *3* star Movie July 23 2015
By A Roger Zelazny Fan - Published on
Format: DVD
An emerging rapper attempts to get a record contract with the assistance of a desperate hip-hop superstar in this intense musical drama starring Jamie Hector and Wood Harris. Young Eastie (Hector) has the skills to pay the bills, now he just needs to get his music to the masses. A living legend in the world of hip-hop, A-Maze (Harris) is just the man to make that happen. But the record industry can be brutal, and sometimes in order for one star to rise, another must fall. Featuring music by Ja Rule, Trick Daddy, and Lil Scrappy.
