This is such a great read!! I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is already in the music game or just starting to put their toes in the water and not sure what they might be in for. I am a pro performing songwriter myself and felt at times I was reading my own Los Angeles story - Such great insight from Gilli and her journey and Wisdom into the new paradigm that has become the digital music industry - Slipping away are the old and outdated and unfair ideas the labels offered up to artists- Gilli confirms in detail the changing of the guards to where the Artists can carve out quite a cool nitch on their own if they are smart and follow the trail that Gilli is laying out. Welcome to a world of Indie artists taking the reins in their careers and learning the marketing game for themselves. I was inspired with every page and learned so much about what I can do for myself to grow my creative business as an Indie artist. Cheers to you Gilli!!
