Product Description

Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of this 1991 album from the British bombshell. Just One Night features the classic single "Another Woman (Too Many People)" and two further overseas releases - the memorably-titled "(Hurt Me! Hurt Me!) But The Pants Stay On" and the title track, as well as a medley cover of Donna Summer's "Love To Love You Baby" and the Andrea True Connection's "More More More". Remastered direct from the master tapes, this edition brings together the original 11-track album with no less than 23 bonus tracks across two CDs, including three unreleased Stock Aitken Waterman tracks recorded in early 1991. While "Forever True" was submitted to Jive for possible inclusion on "Just One Night", "A Second Chance" and Sam's version of the Boy Krazy hit "That's What Love Can Do" were left unfinished in the wake of Matt Aitken's departure from PWL. Especially for this release, both tracks have now been completed 'as they might have been' in both 7" and 12" form by upcoming remixer/producer Matt Pop, using Sam's original vocals. Cherry Pop.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just One More Time Jun 26 2012

I Finally got my hands on a copy of this remaster and I'm glad I decided to order this. "Just One Night" isn't a great memorable album, but there are many standout tracks on this album. The remaster makes it more worth it. I was surprised to find that "Walking On Broken Glass" was a cover of the Annie Lennox hit, and I already knew "That's What Love Can Do" was a cover of the one hit wonder Boy Krazy's hit. The full original version of "Love To Love You Baby" is good, but why isn't there a full original version of "More, More, More"? The remixes are good, but we don't need all those instrumental tracks. If you have the original "Greatest Hits" you've already heard "Hot Lovin". The original 1991 version of her 1995 hit "Go For The Heart" is a more laid back slower version. "I Wanna Rock 'N' Roll All Night" is a cover of the KISS classic, which is also included on the 2nd disc of the 2009 "Greatest Hits" deluxe version. Good quality remaster.

5.0 out of 5 stars UN ALBUM AVEC PLUSIEURS STYLES MUSICAUX! Aug 11 2012
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
EN 1991 SAMANTHA FOX NOUS REVENAIT AVEC JUST ONE NIGHT SON 4IEME OPUS. LE PREMIER SINGLE DE CET ALBUM : HURT ME! HURT ME ! (BUT THE PANTS STAY ON) ÉTAIT EXCELLENT AVEC UNE BELLE ÉVOLUTION MUSICALE DANCE UN PEU R&B. LE 2E SINGLE ANOTHER WOMAN(TOO MANY PEOPLE) UNE BONNE CHANSON MAIS RIEN DE PLUS N'A PAS RÉUSSI À CONVAINCRE LE PUBLIC DONC CE QUI A FAIT BAISSER LA PÔPULARITÉ DE MISS FOX MALHEUREUSEMENT CAR CET ALBUM EST REMPLI DE BONNES CHANSONS ET DE STYLES ENTRE AUTRE NOW I LAY ME DOWN QUI FAIT DANS LE DANCE ET PLEASURE ZONE ET SPIRIT OF AMERICA QUI SONNENT PLUS ROCK SANS PARLER DE L'EXCELLENTE REPRISE LOVE TO LOVE /MORE,MORE,MORE EN MEDLEY DANCE R&B VRAIMENT SI LA COMPAGNIE AURAIT POUSSER LA PROMOTION DE CET ALBUM IL AURAIT PROBABLEMENT POUSSER MISS FOX PLUS LOINS ENCORE MAIS IL Y AVAIT EU DISCORDE CAR LA COMPAGNIE VOULAIT UN ALBUM DANS LA MÊME VEINE QUE I WANNA HAVE SOME FUN MAIS SAMANTHA VOULAIT QUE L'ALBUM SOIT DIFFÉRENT ALORS VOILÀ POURQUOI CET ALBUM COMPREND LA MOITIÉ PLUS DANCE ET L'AUTRE MOITIÉ PLUS ROCK. CE FUT LE DERNIER ALBUM CONNU DE MISS FOX. MAIS AVEC PLAISIR NOUS RETROUVONS ENFIN L'ALBUM ICI EN VERSION DELUXE AVEC DES INÉDITS QUE SAM FOX AVAIT ENREGISTRÉS MAIS QUI N'AVAIT JAMAIS FIGURÉ SUR AUCUNS DES ALBUMS PRÉCÈDENTS ET DES REMIXES QUI SONT APPRÉCIABLES. JUST ONE NIGHT EST UN EXCELLENT ALBUM À REDÉCOUVRIR!
