Previously unreleased in the U.S., the second K. O. Beast OVA continues the slapstick silliness of the first. Half-tiger Wan, half-bird Bud, and mermaid-princess Mei-Mer are still searching for the mysterious entity Gaia, who may be able to reunite the sundered hemispheres of the Earth. Czar Master, the nasty human leader, thinks the girl Yuni chan Password may be the key to Gaia. He dispatches V-Darn and V-Sion, two inept lackeys reminiscent of Team Rocket, and the stronger Icelegal to capture Yuni in the Mermaid city of Outlantis. The action is frantic with lots of extreme takes and over-the-top gags: at times, K.O. Beast feels like a cross between Slayers and Pokémon. Plot and character development are virtually nonexistent, but viewers looking for gleeful insanity probably won't care. (Rated 13 and older: violence, minor profanity, alcohol use) --Charles Solomon

Well now, hopefully you have seen the first dvd, if not, go do so! Also if you can, go read my last review on the first K.O. Beast. Now onto the dvd!This is dvd 2 of 3 dvds, and the story continues from where the last one left off. Wan and the beasts are still looking for the treasure, but now there Jins are damaged from the last battle, so they must watch out for V-Darn and V-Sion. First, the Beasts must find a man to repair there Jins, but while there Jins are in the shop, the humans attack in a new Jin of there own. Then the Beasts head down to Mei-Mer's home under the sea. Nei-mer is sick and as a dying request, asks for some "sweet sweet fruit". Wan and Bud head off for some. While there gone a new enemy S.P.Icegal attacks. The Beasts must save Yuni and Mei-Mer. As for the dvd: If you liked the first, then get this one, its worth it, S.P. Icegal is a very interesting character thats worth checking out. If you haven't seen the first go do so. the Final dvd is out in October, i'll review it when it comes out. Cya, enjoy the dvd!
