1.0 out of 5 stars Product DOA Jan. 25 2012

Bought one of these, didn't have great expectations given the price is so low, although other major retailers do sell this for $149. I just wanted a cheap toy to play with Android for the first time. I did however at least expect it to work. After unpacking and charging, product was dead on arrival. Upon power up screen flickered a few times then went black, nobody home. Nice quality control Curtis Electronics! As for the unit itself, pretty poor plastic body, cheap plastic rocker buttons, doesn't seem terribly solid. The item pictured here is not the tablet currently being sold as the LT5000, I don't know if that photo is an earlier model or just wrong but they are nothing alike. Bottom line, don't waste your time or money. If budget is tight, get an Archos 28 or a Coby Kyros 7012. Thumbs way down on this piece of junk.

Slow, bad, cheap. Nice size though! Mind you many phones have screens that big now and are much faster. As a kids toy, who knows.

this is my 2nd Klu tablet, i chose this one this time for the camera, and sure enough it works awesome. tablet runs videos smoothly, up to 720p 1080p is choppy though. have not been able to find a version of skype that works with the KLU brand tablets as of yet. i do enjoy these smaller tablets since there easy to carry around.

2.0 out of 5 stars klu tablet Jan. 11 2013

Its ok for the browser, but Im not happy its not google compatible, if I knew that I wouldn't of got it. But you get what you pay for, I wanted a cheaper tablet because it was for a ten year old, just to see how responsible he was going to be with it, and good thing I got cheaper he broke the screen within few Weeks of having it, so happy that I didn't get anything more expensive.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a bad MP3 player, but won't download from Android Market. Jan. 15 2012

This KLU tablet is definitely an inferior tablet. The touch screen isn't very responsive. You must apply pressure to make the screen work. Instead of touch screen they should call it a press pad. The worst thing about this tablet is that it won't work with Google's Android Market. Curtis was too cheap to pay the license fee charged by Google to access the market place.

If you are looking for something to browse the web, see youtube, e-mail, listen to music, watch videos, etc. then this machine is okay, but don't expect to find firmware updates or support from Curtis.
