Gives great tips for each section (physical, biological science, verbal and writing) followed by difficult mcat type quetsions. Great to use only for those study previous material. Not intended for students with lack of basic background knowledge and concepts of each subject. It provides a good overview of what the mcat may be like, but does not represent the actual mcat on test day. Caution!! You may get frustrated and confused...

If you aren't taking an actual prep course, then this book is for you! It breaks down test taking strategies for each subject and includes many practice questions with answers and explanations. It really helps you tackle some of those difficult questions you weren't expecting. It focuses on test taking and the actual questions where other books simply give you a couple summary pages of each subject.
