Be aware: Same exact story as 'The Keepsake' by Gerritsen, April 26 2009
By Angie Balke - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Keeping the Dead (Paperback)
First I'd just like to say that I love all of Tess Gerritsen's work. I just can't get enough of her books. I really enjoyed this story as well. You won't be bored or tempted to put the book down, as she keeps you interested until the very end. However, I had already read 'The Keepsake'; and when I came across this book, 'Keeping the Dead' I thought I had overlooked a new book and was anxious to read it. However, I soon learned as I began reading the story that this was the same story as I had already read, but with a different title: 'The Keepsake'. Just be aware before you purchace the two mistakenly as I did.

A Gerritsen Classic, May 21 2010

I confess to being a massive fan of Tess Gerritsen's work, but i have to say that Tess has surpassed even her own usual high standards with this one. I was riveted to the storyline from start to finish. There are enough plot twists and red herrings within these pages to satisfy any thriller reader. I was almost breathless by the time I reached the final page. This was definitely a "can't put it down' page turner that held my attention on every page.

(Gerritsen) Same Book, Different Title, Aug 12 2011

I'm an avid reader of Tess Gerritsen books, but have to say I've been duped. I realized the books published from Great Britain are the exact same books published in the USA. I bought 2 books that I've already read. "The Keepsake" is "Keeping The Dead", and "Ice Cold" is "The Killing Place". I am very disappointed that this is done but I guess it's "buyer beware". I thought I checked to make sure where my books came from when I ordered them, but I guess I wasn't careful enough. Watch out you Gerritsen readers out there.
