From the Back Cover

Mum and Dad said Melissa and Sean weren't mean. But they were. Oh, Kelly still played with Melissa every day. But it wasn't as much fun now. Kelly scowled. Then she remembered. This afternoon, Melissa had said she'd miss Kelly when she went to her dad's this weekend. Maybe Melissa was okay. Kelly's cabin is made out of a big cardboard box. It has a window with curtains, pictures on the walls, a cabin-sized table and a wonderful view. Kelly imagines that her cabin is a farmhouse from pioneer times. Now, if only she had someone to share it with.

This book is so fun. Kelly has a cabin made from a cardboard box. I once had a house made from a cardboard box, so it was fun to imagine Kelly's. Hers had pictures and curtains. Mine didn't. It was just a pretend house, and I imagined pictures and curtains.

I like the picture on the book. It made me imagine Kelly's cabin and make it more real.

The exciting part was when Winnie was going to get the outlaw that was coming to the cabin. Kelly thought Winnie could handle him. Winnie knocked the outlaw down and jumped on him. The rest of the story is funny.

I liked Kelly's Cabin very much. I think I liked it because I could imagine the cabin. It was a funny book to read.
