Kenny and the Little Kickers, by Claudio Marzollo, was about badgers playing soccer. Kenny was a chubby little badger, who liked to watch cartoons in front of hte big screen. His dad one day said to Kenny that soccer starts today. Kenny told him no. But they went to check it out anyway. Kenny felt too big and fat to play soccer, but because he was encouraged, Kenny participated.
I like this book, because it involves a sport with badgers. I like sports and I like animals. I also like it because the badgers look cute and cuddly. This story is happy, funny, and encouraging. I like the way it ends because it has an astonishing ending. I would recommend you read this good story.
