2.0 out of 5 stars OK except for hidden "feature" Dec 19 2011
By izzy
The remote works great, except that the laser button also does F5 (starts the presentation in Microsoft Outlook), which means if you plan to use this with Google Docs to show presentations, hitting the laser pointer button will refresh the page, effectively sending you back to the beginning of your presentation.

In other words, only buy this if you don't plan to use Google Docs presentations, or if you don't care about the laser pointer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Allows for mobility when presenting Oct. 21 2010
By teacher
A great little tool stops you from being tied to the computer station when presenting. Great range, and doesn't need an unobstructed line to work. Also is great ergonomically -- good weight and hand fit. Finally, the tuck away storage for the USB plug in makes it neat and easy to store when not in use. Well worth the money (also a much better price through Amazon than any or the other online or brick & mortar retailers.)

It's simple. Plug and play. No software to play with. It just does what it's supposed to do. I'd buy it again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Reasonably good presenter May 30 2013

I've owned both a Targus and a Logitech and have broken both. This one seems to have better build quality that those other brands, but died or malfunctioned after about an hour of use when I finished my presentation and allowed a colleague to use it (batteries were new when I started my presentation).

I really have no complaints with this device; it works on any computer, has a decent range as I move about the room, and was a reasonable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, it frees my mind March 25 2014

I really like the device: easy to install and use, I can move away from my mouse or my keyboard and proceed with my conference on a more natural, fluent rythm.

5.0 out of 5 stars It clicks and points - woo! March 23 2014

Simple and effective. I use this in my college classes (instructor) and let my student presenters use it for their presentations. I'm never more than 10 metres away from the computer, so I can't vouch for its effectiveness over distance. The dongle stores nicely in the bottom of the clicker, but it can be easy to forget to recover the dongle at the end of class.

I teach undergraduates, and I got this thing to use with my power point slides. It works as advertised, and I have had no problems with it.
