Keurig Platinum Single Serve Brewer for Keurig K-cups KUB70

I purchased this product for my wife and I, we are very impessed with it so far. We have the platinum and the reusable filter. My wife and I are very fussy with the coffee we drink and do not like the k-cups. We have wanted this machine for a while but only bought it once we found the reusable filter and can brew the coffee we love, which is why I rated it 5 stars. We did not purchase it for the ease of the k-cups.

Love that it has an auto on/off and can be ready to go when we get up, it is super quiet the motor and pump are much quieter then a normal coffee pot. All you hear is the water boiling, just sounds like a kettle.

Delicious, hot coffee every morning without waste. Amazing product!!

*****My Keurig has officailly died! I mean dead as a doornail! I called Keurig 6 months into owning this machine that it was not brewing right and was told to de-scale every 3 months which I did along with the paperclip clean out to be sure of no blockages. The machine limped along until it was put to rest on April 11, 2012. We purchased it on our mastercard which doubles the warranty so we will see where that gets us to replacing it. I still love the idea of the product and cannot wait to get another one.

Keurig has been ever so helpful and has offered us a generous $100 off a new one through them even though there is no warranty left on it so call them if you are having issues to start a file they are really great to deal with. I still highly recommend this machine dispite this, I think we bought a lemon.

I really enjoy using this machine. Coffee is made with very little fuss, and so far every type I've tried (using the included sample pack of K-cups) has been very tasty. My only complaint is that the coffee isn't very hot. I'm used to making one big cup and having it stay hot for a while. I may end up making two smaller cups, no big deal.

I love flavoured coffee and loved the variety keurig offers with their coffee, but was rather disappointed by the taste. The coffee comes out very weak unless you only hit the teacup setting. The larger the cup, the more watered down your coffee. I also thought having the temperature option would help so I could brew it hotter, but the hottest setting is that of a normal keurig machine. Save yourself the extra money and counter space and go with one with limited options. Even the separate piece you can buy where you add your own beans, brews weakly. Also another "beef" with keurig is that all their cappuccino kcups have trans fats and so do all the hot chocolate kcups (except the Timothy's white hot chocolate). Disappointed.
