If you are a Duggar fan then you won't be disappointed by this season at all. As always it is filled with laughter, fun experiences and great morals. It is always fun to watch a family of that size interact. This season is my two year old's favorite. We all like to watch the Duggars together as it is a show that is interesting for both ages.

We have had a lot of fun watching the Duggar's in this season, my pre-schooler has watched all the episodes NUMEROUS times. We don't allow tv in our home, so we buy different DVD's for entertainment. This one has definitely been a lot of entertaining for us! And we've learned some things from the Duggar's too! I highly recommend this DVD!

The Duggar family seems to do more in this season than what they usually do. More vacations, excurison, celebrationg, etc. You really get a lot for your money with this season. Some of the things they do seem a little far-fetched and I really thing they are encouraged to do things that they wouldn't normally do but who knows. It is a nice addition to the collectionw we have of the Duggar family.

Interesting but very disturbing way to raise children... April 15 2015
By Wendy B - Published on
They have some interesting ways to handle a big family & how to pinch pennies. But there seem to be a lot of neglectful things that happen on camera too. For example, they can't seem to remember how to feed babies in a safe way. Shots of babies lying alone w. bottles in their mouths. Or Michelle feeding babies w. their heads lying flat (& not at an angle). Doctors know this increases the chance of ear infections, & (surprise) the Duggar kids often have ear infections, to the point where some need tubes in their ears. There’s also the time when Jim Bob drops baby Josie. He has her at shoulder height, & then is so excited for a furniture delivery- he drops her straight to the floor.
The girls seem to be treated differently; they seem discouraged from learning skills other than raising their parent's kids, that is, unless the skill can help the family financially. They lose their childhood, & it's sad to think that Jim Bob & Michelle have such a distant relationship w.their kids. It becomes painfully obvious whenever the parents try to describe the kids as individuals. The parents also seem obsessed w.their (adult) kids's private lives & private parts. They claim their kids choose how they date (chaperones, etc.), but the parents are totally driving the bus. They also have a funny stance on "modesty," making the girls wear skirts all the time. They’re ignorant that historically skirts were favored (to be blunt) to allow "easy access." Maybe not so surprising, since their faith seems to discourage husbands needing their wives' consent for sex. One disturbing episode shows Michelle's face inches away from her daughter-in-law's naked vagina, just as she’s about to give birth. She threw all respect for her DIL’s modesty out the window just to be the first to see her grandbaby.
The show is a guilty pleasure- like Hoarders. Just a few minutes, & I feel my life choices are way better in comparison- a real boost. I hope some of the kids make the same realization & escape.
