3.0 out of 5 stars Hokey Pokey, Chicken Dance, Dec 29 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Kids Fun: Games, Songs & Sing-A-Longs (Audio CD)
I bought this for my 3-year-old who loves to do the hokey pokey and the chicken dance. I was really disappointed with the hokey pokey. It is VERY fast and hard to keep up with. I was looking for a CD with the songs you dance to at weddings. The other songs aren't catching for a 3-year-old. I did like the name game. It has a fun beat and my kids love dancing around the house to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Have loved it and used it for 8 years, Jan 20 2006

I've had a home day care for ten years, teen ministry for ten years and been a mom for 19 years. I still play this cd in day care once a week! The kids absolutely love it, and I'm not sick of it. I think that says a lot. I've used it over the years at girl scout game days, toddler play dates, Young Life clubs, you name it. Other leaders have borrowed it, and I like it well enough that I still have it around after all these years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD for the toddler set, Dec 26 2008

My grandchildren, 4 and 18 months, love this cute little album and want me to play it everytime they come over. They dance and sing to it. Their favorites are "The Name Game", "Limbo Rock" and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". They are not the original singers but they are pleasant to listen to and not annoying like some children's albums I have bought. It's nice to have simple music with no inappropriate lyrics for the little ones. It's the perfect CD to play when the grandchildren visit, or to have at home for your own small children. It would also be good for party games at children's birthday parties.
