---------------------
Alice had a day from hell: she'd gotten fired, she'd stumbled into a puddle, ad gotten a run in her stocking and to top it off when she walked into her apartment Jon her fiancé was in bed with their landlady and a third person! Could this day get any worse? Yes.......
Alice walks aimlessly ended up in the Golden Gate Park. Sitting on a bench she had an overwhelming urge to take off her panties. Next she took off her bra. While she was sitting there feeling free and wanton she noticed a white rabbit hopping behind a tree. Compelled to investigate she rounded the tree and watched as the rabbit morphed into a white tiger!! Fainting, feeling she was going through a thick viscous substance she hit a hard substance and knew no more.
Jaronn was furious at his twin Darronn for being so rough with Alice when he bought her through to their world. Kalina the sorceress interrupted the potential fight and was ordered to bring Jaronn's two other brothers to begin Alice's training as soon as she awoke from her faint. Upon waking Alice heard a moan and walking around a tree saw three naked men and a woman with nothing but a collar on! Watching she was shown an example of BDSM. She fainted again when she found herself being nudged by a white tiger! Waking up naked she was on a bed and spread eagled with a dark haired man sitting in a corner! Her education was just beginning!
This was a very different book from what this reviewer is used to! The basic plot was good I didn't care for the BDSM subplot though. The two main characters were both strong. Even though Alice was supposed to be a submissive she wasn't a total pushover. She was submissive only because she allowed it. While Joronn was definitely in charge he was still caring and protective of Alice.
The secondary characters definitely beg for stories of their own. One wants to see what the eventual outcome of this family is. The shape shifting was an enjoyable surprise.
If you want to read a book with plenty of sex then this is for you. However if you don't like BDSM you might want to give this a miss or just skip over those parts! If you like strong dominant men then read the King of Hearts you won't be disappointed!

Erotica with a twist, Jun 15 2004
This review is from: King of Hearts (Paperback)
Bondage, strong alpha males, full figured submissive women, group sex, soulmate. If any of those adjectives spark your attention, then you'll love this book. The scenes were HOT! The strong alpha males and the bondage took some getting used to, but by the end I was hooked. I will be reading the second book in this series. If you're looking for a book filled with romance (while this book does have romance in it), you will not be happy with Wonderland. If you're looking for a book with the right amount of romance and sex, then you'll love it.

Fun with an old theme, May 26 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: King of Hearts (Paperback)
This story is a fun twist on with the old Alice in Wonderland theme. Alice is an insecure full-figured woman who is transported to Wonderland to meet and marry the king.
Wonderland is a land of sexually dominant men and submissive women. Alice is "sexually trained" out of her insecurity and into loing her king.
Sounds rough or abusive? Not at all. It is a fairly well done bit of S/m fantasy. If anything, the sex scenes are thinner and less fleshed out than I would like. All in all not a bad read.
Enjoy!
