This review is from: King's Collection Classic Card Games (Video Game)
If you want the Free Cell game that used to be included with Windows, do not buy this. It is awful. And they know it. They call it "Free Shell" because it is NOT the same. Amazon, you should not show this in a Free Cell search.

Canasta!, Oct 23 2011
By Isobel Poe "isobelpoe" - Published on Amazon.com
I bought and downloaded this game over 6 months ago ONLY for the canasta. Believe it or not, it is somewhat difficult to find a download-able canasta game that one doesn't have to pay a monthly charge for on a gaming site.
As a child, I would while away Sunday afternoons playing canasta with my Grandmother. She passed away over a decade ago, leaving me with no one to play my favorite card game with (at least I haven't found a person, yet).
This little game of canasta has a rules refresher before the cards are dealt (it HAD been awhile), although it isn't very in-depth. I, being an experienced player, was able to pick the game back up after a hand or two. There are a couple of glitches that I have noticed, the most prominent being that the player can be ready to go out and have canastas down on the table (you must have at least two canastas to be able to go out), and discard their last card, and the game will continue on until the computer-player is ready to go out. Sometimes it will just go ahead and win. A player like that would have been shot at my Grandmother's card table(Ok, probably not).
The music isn't annoying, there are little dancers in the background that contribute to the fun and make the user-interface a little more entertaining than just a card game.
As far as an inexpensive canasta game, this is a great download. I haven't tried any of the other games as of yet.
