This is a very funny view of comedy from the past. This is from a time when the imagination of the radio listener was essential to the humor, the slapstick of Vaudiville had to adapt to a new media. The only warning from me, the W.C. Fields material on Disc 1 is taken from the Decca anthology from the late 60s and not radio material as is the rest of this Box Set. All in all it is well worth the small amount for 4 CDs.
