I have put off reading these two book for a while because I only had the second one. When I had major surgery and was facing six weeks of bed rest, my brother got me a kindle. I found these books as a set for the kindle and purchased them. Sufice it to say I was hooked from page one. Karen has a way of bringing her characters to life, and giving them real life issues. Without giving away the story these two books tell, it was such a God thing that I read them when I did. He knows the perfect time for everything, and He gives KK the stories people need to look at their own lives. I would definitley say this duo is a favorite now. God bless KK and all the readers she touches with her live changing fiction.

I've had a difficult time deciding how to rate this book. It is a well-written page-turner with enthralling characters. Karen Kingsbury is an exceptional writer, but the story was too heart-wrenching and grueling to read. I have lived through emotional upheavals in my own life, and I need to escape from that, instead of experiencing it all over again. I couldn't put A TIME TO DANCE down, but I have decided not to read A TIME TO EMBRACE. I just don't want to put myself through any more.

I really enjoyed these two books. The story line is great and the Christian teaching about love and forgiveness came through loud and clear. Forgiveness and acceptance also was a lesson we can learn from. The illustration of the eagle was great and I have tucked that away in my memory in case I can use it. What a blessing those two books were and I wish I could give them to some couples on the verge of a divorce. What a blessing that would be to them.
