This story was very strong. It has a very strong message that really communicated the value of persistence and integrity. There is a nice twist at the end that makes everything click into place and shows the test of true leadership. The main character is very real, strong and likable. He carries you through it page by page and then of course there is a love story which always keeps me hooked. L. Ron Hubbard definitely left many worlds in his stories for the reader to escape to and learn a bit about life at the same time.

You immediately find yourself cast into the role of the hero, and following his pitfalls and successes (at least I did!) every step of the way as he weaves his way through this trial of intellect to meet with his destiny. An opportunity of a lifetime all in one short book!
