Dick Francis is one of the best mystery writers ever!
He has such a turn of phrase that means so much.
You learn about such things as diamonds, gold mines, movies, survival training, paintings, flying, hurricanes, gems, and many areas besides horses and horse racing.
I sure hope his son continues to carry on his legacy of writing.
