Small on size, but large on convenience, KitchenAid's 3-1/2-cup electric food chopper works well for chopping, slicing, dicing, and more. Use the food chopper for a variety of everyday culinary tasks such as chopping red onions and green peppers for a homemade pizza, mincing cilantro to mix into fresh salsa, or for pureeing ingredients to make delicious strawberry-basil granita.
The food chopper features easy one-handed operation with top-mounted buttons. Two speed settings provide optimal results, regardless of the task. Use the Chop button for everyday chopping needs. Use the higher Puree speed to quickly puree ingredients.
The food chopper's strong, razor-sharp blade quickly processes small amounts of meats, fresh or cooked fruits and vegetables, and nuts and herbs. A reverse spiral design pulls foods down into the blade for uniform chopping and minimizes the need to scrape the sides of bowl.
Even more, the blade locks on the shaft to stay securely in place while pouring out ingredients, and it's dishwasher-safe for quick cleanup.
The domed lid locks into place to operate the food chopper, and it removes easily to add ingredients. A wet-ingredient adder hole and well in the lid allows for adding liquid ingredients without removing the lid. Use it while the chopper is running without making a mess. The lid is dishwasher-safe.
The food chopper's BPA-free 3.5-cup work bowl provides a generous working capacity, and removes easily from the base. The work bowl is also dishwasher-safe.
A handy spatula comes included, making it easy to quickly remove chopped food from the sides of the bowl.
The food chopper's power cord wraps under the base for convenient, out-of-the-way storage.

First time I used it to puree a soup and it worked well, although I did notice a bit of an electrical smell but I shrugged it off thinking it was just the "out of the box... Read morePublished 17 days ago by Animation Fanatic
I don't recommend this product. I used the food processor to chop dates today and after a few pulses, there was smoke and burning plastic smell coming from the bottom.Published 25 days ago by lucy
It started out as a super addition but the lid hasn't a proper seal. Food and liquid seep into the many gaps (for example where the pulse buttons are). Read morePublished 27 days ago by Scooter Wally
The only good thing about this chopper is that it is attractive. I only used it twice and it stopped working. It is unnecessarily finnicky to operate. Read morePublished 1 month ago by D. Gail Toop
