Bought this as a replacement for our previous KitchenAid blender, which had given many years of service. The one-piece container is a lot lighter than the glass container on the old one and goes in the dishwasher without having to be disassembled - a big plus. We were concerned about going from glass to plastic, but it still crushes ice effortlessly. I would buy one of these again.
