I ordered 2 Klean Kanteen Wide Mouth Insulated Loop Cap 20-Ounce for my wife and myself on mar 25, 2013 and received them on mar 28, 2013. we've owned the original bottles for many years. they are durable and we feel good about that we are doing something for the planet. Klean Kanteen Wide Mouth Insulated Loop Cap are even better. they keep cold drink for long time (description says hot for 6 hours and cold for 24 hours). i even did a small test myself. I used brita filtered tap water and put 6 ice cube in the bottle and i left it for a couple of hours. then i went for a long walk with it. constantly having sips through out the walking. when i got home, ice cube were melted little bit. i added more filtered tap water which melted ice cube to a half size and i left it for a couple of hours. i checked if the ice cube were still there and there it was. cool. it lasted over 10 hours. of course, it depends on how cool the water is but it works great. i would have given 5 stars but there was little particle inside the insulation making noise everytime i shake one of the bottles. for that reason i gave 4 stars.

This product lives up to it's claims. I keep my drink with a few ice cubes the whole day and even after 4-6 hours the ice cubes are still there in full form. One thing that I would like to see is spill proof/stainless cap for coffee. It's a little pricey but after using it several times, it's worth the extra few bucks for this quality.

Got this from my husband last Christmas, and I LOVE it. I put in hot tea or coffee, drink some, set it down and forget about it, find my mug 4 hours later and it's still hot!! Just be careful you don't put the tea or coffee in when it is piping hot from the kettle or you'll have to wait an hour or so before it's cooled down enough that it doesn't scald you!

Best Thermal Bottle Ever
This is the best thermal bottle I've ever had. On the beach, drinks stay COLD for hours! Haven't tried it on hot drinks, but I'll bet it works just as well.
