Perfect for bike picnics, July 9 2011

Nice for a 10 mile ride, a of picnic with a bit of cheese and some grapes. Won't break, doesn't leak, wine can get warm on hot days, this isn't an insultated KK. I noticed a few folks saying this is the exact same as the standard KK, but this one comes standard with the stainless flat cap, for an all stainless interior, no plastic, so the price point is about right with that option.

Not too much to say here. This item works as described. The wine stays fresh longer, and the stainless steel imparts no taste I can detect. I have no complaints.

We've used this bottle for storing wine on several trips. It generally works well. The only complaint is that we had some leaking with a substantial change in altitude (~5000 feet). We bought this bottle because we thought it was 750 mL, the same size as a standard wine bottle. When it arrived, we found out it was 800 mL, just like other standard Klean Kanteens which sell for less. The only difference I can discern is that the wine version may come with a slightly different cap then some of the standard bottles. If you want the wine logo on the bottle, you can pay the extra money. Otherwise, order the standard bottle and save a few $. Just be sure to pick the same kind of cap as comes with the wine version.
