I've been a hardcore Sony earphone guy most of my life, with only 1 brief moment of infidelity (darn you Skull Candy), anyways, after my last pair died I decided to put some more money into my earphones. I read alot of reviews about different earphones and what stuck out about these ones was high audio quality at a reasonable price. So I took the plunge and bought the Klipsch S4 earphones. I'm not going to say my life changed, I got handsomer and tons of women were attracted to me, because it did. But also that these are really nice earphones. Before you go all gun-ho and buy hundreds of these earphones, you gotta due a few things to maximize audio quality. If you haven't already, convert all your songs to a higher bitrate via iTunes plus or using other forms of mysticism. Young people, pay attention! Take it from an old guy, you NEED a higher bitrate, yes you do! No I don't care if it costs more, do it. Second, you need to burn these babies in. Its probably been said a bunch of times about this process so I won't be an old fogey and repeat myself, so calm down you young people!
So thats it. For $100 bucks you're getting a pretty good set of earphones for the quality. Thanks for listening, now get off my porch!
Edit: Wanted to add after a sufficient "burn in" period, the sound quality has improved significantly (took about 1 to 1.5 months of straight listening).
