About the Author

Cosette, who usually goes by Cosy, is a third generation Montanan. She was born and lived in Missoula, Montana, until she was twenty-six. She fell in love with wool in Vancouver, British Columbia, while at graduate school, and there, under the influence of such color and texture, she knit her project for a Masters in Theology and the Arts, opened up a small business, Cosy Knits (literally), and hawks her wares on Etsy.com and at craft fairs. She currently makes a living by knitting, ripping, dyeing, spinning, thrifting and making up patterns in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she lives in a big row house with her husband, Ben, and two fabulous roommates.
