GREAT little book for travel Sept. 6 2009
By L. Jones - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I have used various maps for various cities - popups, Lonely Planet, etc - and this is by far my favorite. Get this for on the ground and Rick Steves' travel guides for your homework ahead of time and you're set. Has great maps with attractions and places of interest highlighted. Very light and great to use as you're walking around places. Maps are very easy to navigate. I love these maps!

I have these Knopf map books for London and NYC too. So easy to read ---font size is better than your usual map and no wrestling with it to fold it up! Easy to use and carry in your purse.
best way to understand a city Sept. 7 2013

I love learning about a city organized by neighborhood. By having a map for each zone of the city with info on categories of architecture, restaurants, and shopping all designated on the pop up map, it makes it easy to plan for your daily activities and focus on everything interesting in that portion of the city.
It's so easy to use Aug. 30 2013

I have the same book for London and loved it. It divides the city up into parts that are easy walking areas. The nice part is that it's small enough so you aren't carting around a heavy book or an awkward big map. It stores easily in my purse. I can pull it out and look at the 'just the right size map' and see where I want to go next. I only wish they had one for Glasgow, Inverness, etc...all the other places I want to go.

These books are great. I have the book for many cities. They are the best for traveling. This particular one on Edinburgh is as great as all the others. Just used in last month on a trip.
