Gurmukh is a wonderful instructor. She is 58 years old, but she is in better health than most 20 year olds. Her voice is soothing and uplifting. I can't get over how young she looks. The scenery in this is very beautiful and the background music very nice. I have several Ana Brett and Ravi Singh yoga dvd's which I love, but this was a welcome change. This workout I find really works your spine and cardio more so than Ana Brett's workouts. I can't keep up with Gurmukh for all the workout, but I will work towards this. I have had back problems most of my life and this workout seemed to really release the tension from my lower back. There is a gong meditation at the end of the workout and I could literally feel the energy vibrate through my body with each gong. This is very different from Hatha Yoga and you can preview 5 minutes of this on youtube to give you an idea of what kundalini yoga is like. I am so thankful for being the gift of Kundalini yoga. It has transformed my life in all areas. I rarely go a day without doing it since it works not only my physical body, but my mental, emotional, and spiritual body as well.
