These little pocket door latches are much easier to use than the standard rectangular cut out style. They are smooth acting and good looking as well, just make sure you have room for them to slide into the pocket slot. They stick out beyond the face of the door about 3/32 on each side, usualy not a problem. Most pocket doors are installed with about 3/16 inch gap on each side

The description says oil-rubbed bronze but I have ordered 6 total in two different orders and all have been black. Even after calling to make sure they understood that bronze is different from black I still got the wrong item. Amazon is unable to get me oil-rubbed bronze so I am going elsewhere.
