The print is fantantic, but the chain referencing leaves much to be desired. The concordance is minnimal, but it has to be, otherwise the Bible would be cumbersome. The wide margins are a bonus, and much appreciated. For note-takers this is the Bible to buy.

HASH(0xb58c354c) out of 5 stars One of a kind. Aug. 16 2010

I like this Bible because it has both large print and wide margins. This combination is difficult to find, and if one is found, it is gigantic. This is big, but not extreme. I am a studier and like to have room for my own cross-references and notes. There are no extra pages for personal notes, but these can easily be added. The binding is sewn, which is rare find for an inexpensive Bible, and if you spend years marking your Bible, this is important because the pages are not going to fall out. Use prismacolor col-erase pencils instead of ink as they will not bleed through. If you need lots of marginal references or notes from "scholars," then this Bible is not for you. For me, it is the treasure I've been looking for as my eyes are aging, but my mind is not.

HASH(0xb6165c84) out of 5 stars Warning! Loaded with typos Feb. 10 2010
By Susannah McBride - Published on Amazon.com

This Bible looks nice and the font is large and clean. BUT BIG PROBLEM: It is loaded with typos. I have owned it a few months and already found about a dozen of them, just in casual reading. So far the ones I have found are in Genesis, I Corinthians 13, and Acts. I am a professional proofreader, and I am fully acquainted with the King James Version, so I know what I am talking about. (In other words, I'm not mistaking the old English.) There are words blatantly misspelled and words missing (or, in the case of I Cor 13, the word "no" when it should be "not"). What use is a fine binding if they have given no care to what's inside? It is disheartening to find a Bible publisher that is so casual about the text. Real students of the Bible should definitely avoid this copy.

HASH(0xb571a378) out of 5 stars This is a blue collar Bible. Oct. 27 2009

The cover of the Bible looks like the box it comes in, rather than the cover itself. It has orange and different shades of blue, in a design that actually looks nice, if you don't mind off color Bibles. Doesn't bother me because this is a rather affordable Bible, and its wide margins are a huge, huge plus. Plenty of space for notes and corrections. That is what I like about it. That is why I bought it. One little caution: The pages are thin, and for marking the Bible you need to use a thin pen, like .038 or smaller. Regular 07 gel pens bleed through. With the .038 pen, you can still see the words on the other side, but it doesn't bleed through. It leaves a shadow of those words. Also the Bible is kind of big, like a dictionary almost. Considering the cost of the Bible, I can't complain. I like it. It works for me.

The unreasonable forgiveness that God gives us through Jesus Christ the Lord takes one's breath away. It is unspeakable, beyond words of amazement.

HASH(0xb554ffd8) out of 5 stars Great for note takers Oct. 30 2007
By Angelo - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This Bible has a lot of room for taking notes as well as easy-to-read large text.
Binding nice and tight, great leather for the price.
Not a lot of scripture references, which makes it a great study Bible to add your own and not the opinion of others.
Also no words of Christ in red, since he wrote it all anyway.

HASH(0xb6cb0c00) out of 5 stars Good Bible, needs something more... Dec 9 2008

This is my favorite Wide Margin KJV bible. The type is not too small and it gives plenty of room around the edges. I would like to see them remove the inside margin though because you can't write hardly anything in there anyway. You'd still be left with the top, bottom and outer edge margins to write in AND the Bible wouldn't be sooo wide. The Words of Jesus aren't in red--a negative for me. Also, it would be nice if there was a description of the each book before you started reading it to give you extra info--date written, author, etc. Illustrations would be nice too for buildings and garments described in Leviticus especially. Further, if it had some plain pages to write my own notes in the back of the book, that would be cool too. In all, it's a pretty plain bible, although it has some cross references and a harmony of the gospels in the back, it still needs more "goodies" to make it a good study bible. I actually am transforming it into a good one by taking notes from other bibles and writing them in it. I wouldn't highly recommend this Bible but I would recommend it to those who want to transform it into a good study bible like I am.
