Fast shipping and packed nicely! Love the large numbers when looking out my door to see the amount of rain we have had. Make sure you level the top when attaching into the board to ensure accurate readings.

Overall this is a nice rain gauge at a good price. It is relatively large and fits nicely on my deck railing. While it's made of plastic, it does not seem flimsy. The one thing I found was that the container is clear, and while the numbers are large, it still makes them hard to see, especially from a distance. So I ended up putting a white backing on the outside behind the numbers, and that makes them much easier to see.

This rain gauge was easy to install, I attached it to the deck railing, facing it toward my sun-room windows. It is easy to read the gauge without going outside. The red plastic marker is very visible. Just be sure to catch the marker and put it back in the gauge when emptying out the rain water.
