It is truly a tiny key drive. The U/D time is pretty good, I'm using this primarily as a drive to keep some portable programs for when I travel to be able to do some work as well as make sure if I cant have my computer with me I can still have some of the things I'm used to on whatever computer I'm working on. The 4 gb online storage that Lacie includes is a nice perk.

Low profile was great for use in my aftermarket car stereo, until it died 2.5 months after purchase. I used the lanyard to attach the cover to my keychain so that I could put it on my keychain when it wasn't plugged in to my car or computer.
I have since seen many reviews that complain of this problem. However, apparently the drive consists of a microSD card and reader, so if it happens to you, you can tear it apart and get a microSD card out of it.

I bought this to use as a discrete startup key for Windows 7 Ultimate - bitlocker drive encryption. The drive doesn't work like the other USB flash drives that I have. Windows wouldn't let me use this drive as a startup key; however, all my other flash drives work as startup keys. I docked this drive two stars for this reason. I blame it on the fact that it's advertised as one type of memory but it functions like an SD card or something similar. Aside from the disappointing surprise, the drive is very small, discrete and fun. It seems very durable when the cover is equipped; It wont get destroyed in your pocket if you keep it attached to your key chain. I like it, I just couldn't use it for what I bought it for.
