My daughter received this for her 2nd birthday, but our 3 1/2 year old is the one who plays with it. It's her first doll aside from a babydoll. I didn't really get what the big hoopla was about these dolls. They seem kind of creepy to me.
What's good is they feel durable. Their gigantic heads sure do provide some weight. The shoes remove to reveal weird looking nubs. The head pivots back and forth, as do the legs, and the arms rotate all around. This one comes with a big bad wolf, that's really just a useless piece of plastic. It can't stand up, it just lays there.
I will say our little girls love it. I think the nice thing is she can easily grab it's body with one hand, but the head is large and heavy enough that at least that part of her is actually "doll like". Another nice thing is it's different and colorful and imaginative enough that they aren't bored with it and beg for our cellphones.
If they wanted another one, I'd buy it.
