Decent overview, but not always coherentFeb. 24 2014

The main problem is that the chapter summaries don't always explain what led up to an event. For example, a damsel will be mad at a knight, and you get the sense the full story tells why, but the summary just skips it. This can make it incoherent sometimes. Also, the index of names is sometimes incomplete in indicating the chapters in which a character appears. But if you don't want to read the other nine volumes, this one is still a good way to get a general overview of the Vulgate and Post-Vulgate Cycles.
