Love Water Music

I was curious about her music after hearing Libby Larson talk about music & composing on public radio so I bought this album.
I believe she said that music did not have to be likeable but had to be interesting. Since I am more attacted to the idea that the purpose of art needs to have some aspect that connects with truth and/or beauty, I am not sure I completely agree, but....
I really like her first piece, Water Music, very evocative and visual and prehaps cinematic. I honestly have not been able to get inspired by the other pieces, but I intend to give them a listen from time to time to see if this will change. All in all I have happy with my purchase.
