Being empathetic is a hard cross to bear, especially when being intimate. When Kiara meets Adrian, she senses in him the dominant man she has been craving her entire life. When she meets Adrian, a private investigator and wolf shape shifter, she rethinks her policy on sex. She can't sense his emotions like other men, but one thing is clear. If she is going to be his, she must submit to him. The thought of that brings Kiara almost to her knees in anticipation.

Moira Rogers has penned a thoroughly engaging and erotic novel with LAST HOPE. Each scene drew me in and held me spellbound the entire novel. With the added plot intrigue of danger and the use of empathetic abilities, I enjoyed every single word.

The shifters in Mystic Valley continue to have a dangerous enemy in the form of the radical group "Humanity's Last Hope (HLH)." Injured and in the hospital, Claire (from MOONSHINE, a previous Mystic Valley novel) encounters sweet empathic nurse Kiara and the hot alpha PI, Adrian Torres. When these two meet much more than sparks fly, and we're taken on a wild ride of hot, empathic-sharing love making all the while Adrian tries his best to protect the woman who has become his Last Hope.I enjoyed seeing another version of shifters and look forward to reading more tales from the Mystic Valley universe!
