Laura Pausini: Live in San Siro [Import]

What a shame. Laura sings her heart out, she loves to sing, she loves her fans, she lives her dream, but it is a shame we barely get to see her on this DVD. The producer should learn to make concert DVD's! He jumps around camera's and angles and shots making you dizzy and a bit sick. Seems the producer was more interested in showing San Siro, the lighting, umbrellas, anything but Laura. The reason to buy a DVD of a concert is to SEE the performers. Laura is the ultimate performer - so warm and humble. But we do not get the shots of her singing - at most you get a few words at a time. I'd still say buy this if you are a Pausini fan. But if you want to SEE Laura, the band and her singers, buy the 2001/2002 Pausini World Tour. I was so looking forward to this DVD and seeing Laura perform since I was going to see the concert in person but my flights got messed up. I hope Laura makes them re-do a second edition so we can see her singing and not San Siro from a helicopter. Grazie Laura, Ti Vogliamo Bene!

You've got everything here, an amazing performer, PRO musicians, huge stadium, and 70.000 souls singing from the beginning to the end.
I have the other two concerts (World Tour 2001-2002 and Live in Paris 05), but this one blew my mind.
Usually, when it starts raining in a concert we think, oh man! show's over, not this time, Most of Laura's videos include rain and water scenes, so basically, you now have that Pausini touch, LIVE!.
As usual, Laura's performance is powerful and impeccable, her voice causes that chill feeling all over your body.
I've been following her since 1994 and I don't remember seeing her dance like she did in this video, I loved it.
What I liked the most was that they include Ascolta il tuo cuore (from Le cose che vivi), which is my favorite song.
Between the new stuff, Favola which is one of the most complete songs, where the band and backup singers get the spotlight, Y mi banda toca el rock mixed with La isla bonita, now that was a surprise and then that salsa-like touch, beautiful, there's also an acoustic version of surrender, etc.

I was so pleased with this concert dvd! After about 7 songs it begins to rain and continues throughtout the rest of the show. I was amazed to see the show go on, but on it did! Laura did a hell of a job, I give mad props to the band who by the end were completely soaked! At least Laura got a few wardrobe changes in..lol....but still in no time at all she to was drenched.

I tend to think if this was any other female diva artist, the show would have been called off and postponed, but no Laura rocks it! We Laura fans are alike...I to can get random moments of shivers down my spine when I hear/see Laura doing her thing! At over 2 hours long, its her longest of her 3 concert dvds, mixing in moments of french, spanish, english on songs and medleys. Truly we in America don't see enough of her....and even if she did release here, I'd expect her albums in Spanish....which wouldn't please me.....I listen to her in italiana and no other! Keep doing what you do Laura! I agree the venue wasn't the best, but it goes to show you 70,000+ fans....Laura sold out San Siro, and she was the first music event to accomplish that. Props Laura!
