Whether or not you're a fan of Dredd, the enclosed stories are top notch for the genre. Great characterization, plot, background, and action for a good read that you won't want to put down. Also, a fine place to start the Judge Dredd mythos. This volume includes the previously released titles: Dredd vs. Death, Bad Moon Rising, Black Atlantic, and Eclipse.
Highly recommended.

I thought I'd ordered a comic book. I didn't. This is a novel. It's as well written as you would imagine literature about Judge Dredd would be. It's on par with those cheesy thrillers they sell in super markets and airports... well, maybe not as good as the ones in airports. Just don't be confused by the "comics" tag like I was.

seems like it read like an Adam West Batman ep.
I understand that Dredd stared out in '77 but damn, move on people, or has updating writing with the times been outlawed by her majesties government?
OR MAYBE
its supposed to be like that come hell or high water.
in which case, its just me
