4.0 out of 5 stars English Invasion, again., Mar 30 2005

Come May when this film is released in the US, this soundtrack will find it's fans, but why wait? Like Lock, Stock, Trainspotting, and films of the like, this music serves double duty as good collection of tracks and a good music piller in the film, enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars worth it, Aug 11 2005
By Jennifer Kim "jack king kicker" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Layer Cake (Audio CD)
If you've watched Layer Cake, you know that while some of these songs may seem a bit random for a british gangster film, each piece has its own to contribute to the movie as a whole. simply put, the music was killer. everything about the movie is highly stylized and just exudes "cool" which is where the music comes into play. The alternative amped with electronic beats makes scenes like Daniel Craig simply walking down the street sexy as hell. Definitely worth a listen to.

This movie was amazing and the music to go along with it was also excellent! Too bad the rolling stones didn't get on there but it's a fantastic album! Fer sure! Buy it!
