Is this pan heavy? Yes, just like any high quality piece of cookware. That is why it has a helper handle. The long handle is very ergonomic, especially compared to All-Clad. We added this to our collection of high end cookware about six months ago and have not been disappointed. It has a great rolled rim for pouring, the handles stay cool, and it has measurement markings on the inside of the pan. I have owned All-Clad in the past and I think this is a better design, and better quality for less money. And be sure to check out the steamer basket insert, the single best tool I have ever used for steaming vegetables, hands down.

I just bought this pot and it really is a nice looking piece of cookware. It's extremely heavy and I need two hands to lift it off the stove. I've never had to do that with a little saucepan before.
