Of all Quebec television production this is by far the best of all. Incredible text, unforgettable characters, a time travel back in Quebec of 1920. Listening to this series allow me to relax, get away from today's' crazy life and enjoy an exquisite pleasure. A superb French Canadian production. I would give hundreds of dollars to get the whole series. I already purchased the first 3 coffret and hope the fourth one will be available soon

The second coffret of this series keeps all the promises of the first.One finds one's favourite characters back again with their everyday joys and hardships and common-sense.A revolutionary changing of social status happens which in turn also influences the status-quo of the rural community. More glimpses into bourgeois life in the city and its mores.Viewing is addictive; one cannot stop. and one keeps asking: When will Rose-Anne and Joseph-Arthur finally get married? Hopefully, in the 3rd season.
