The book is perhaps good for beginners, however my personal approach is a bit different. The photos on the internet page were, in my opinion misleading. But I am sure that many will find it to be worth its while.

I think this book would be a good one for any level of watercolor painter, There are lots of good techniques and information. This book will help me to paint shadows and light sources much better.
